Babylon, thousands of years ago
Amidst the encroaching darkness, Ecaterina, kneeling before the mystical tree, beseeched for mercy—for her people, for herself. In response, a gentle voice, imbued with otherworldly wisdom, posed a solemn question: would she wait, guiding the path until the chosen one fulfilled their destiny?
“Ecaterina, will you pay the price for mercy?”
Ecaterina, after a moment’s hesitation, agreed to pay the price for mercy. “Yes.”
As the garden defied the laws of nature, Ecaterina accepted her fate. The water began to rise, embracing her in an ethereal whirlwind of glowing purple petals and tears. Submerged beneath the engulfing waters, she awaits the redeeming light. Knowing that only when that light pierces the darkness will the world find deliverance from the spreading shadows and the chaos they wrought.
